Creative ESOL Conference

On 29th March 2014 we delivered our first ever conference to disseminate the Creative ESOL model and share knowledge around participatory arts approaches to language learning for migrants and refugees.

It was a lively and interactive day of talks, presentations and workshops including input from English for Action, Moving Words, Cardboard Citizens, Sue Mayo (Goldsmiths University) and Dina Mehmedbegovic (Institute of Education). The evening included performances from our core groups. We welcomed over 90 delegates and were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and passion of all the EAL, ESOL and arts practitioners who attended.
